The curiosity for participatory and collaborative design processes sparked by Jane Jacobs' striking line and the research that followed led me to the open call "Be an Ambassador!" for #PlacemakingActionWeek in October 2022, a self-organised event for people working in public spaces, and triggered a workshop on placemaking.

I had the opportunity to participate in meetings with many like-minded people working on the topic internationally, and I wanted to initiate a space for exchange within the faculty's student council, with the urge to rethink together the so-called obvious answers of architectural practice.

I took part as a guest speaker in Production of Space and the Urban Condition course, which introduced me to Jane Jacobs in the first place.
